The Will of Robert Hotten : 1799-1894

Jane Sawle was Robert’s housekeeper and mother of William, his child.
William married in 1893 and at the time of the 1901 census, Jane was living alone at ‘Belmont’, Ladock and is recorded as ‘Parish Relief’. She died
in Trispen in the 3rd quarter 1901 (Truro 5c/88) at the age of 81 and is buried in
Ladock, 8 August 1901.
